Trends within Public Relations have the influence to persuade people into buying the latest trends that hit the stores. Its funny how people easily adapt into these trends because they easily get influenced by them. They all want to fit in and have a similar trend that one has. Trends have a way of taking over ones life since they change now and then and go hand in hand with different seasons. Different trends are worn in different seasons and show that an individual is kept up to date with the latest fashion trends. The latest trends that we know of are designer bags,neckpieces,leather wear, military wear,skinny jeans leggings,peplum tops, heels,accessories,vintage earings and so on...because of the good marketing strategies fashionistaz use people will end up being persuaded. As for mass media it also plays an important role in marketing fashion and its trends and we get to know whats new in the market. So trends play a vital role in our lives but question is...Can we really keep up with these trends as they come and go?
The sad thing about trends is that sometimes people find it hard to differentiate between a trend and fashion stament . And I agree, a big part of how we come to define ourselves through fashion has to do with the people we look up to.

ReplyDeleteinteresting indeed. i love clothes clothes myself but keeping with the trends is just tooooooo hard for me, so jeans and a simple t-shirt for me is just ok. so as the fashion guru please advice me on how to keep it simple but nice

DeleteTrends are a bit tricky for most Ntokozo is right colour blocking was a mess hence it only lasted for one season. Its good to always wear something which defines you and which you feel comfortable in.
